Mens 4th XI Vs CALA Edinburgh Men's 3s

F&L 4s 5-2 Cala

Third game of the season for the 4s who were still chasing their first win of the season. Game started well with F&L dominating the play however a keystone cops moment in defence allowed the visitors to open the scoring. The 4s then took the lead to make it 2-1 with goals from Josh and Jammie. We then lost a second goal as the 4s switched off.

No harsh words at half time as the performance was good.

Second half was all F&L with the guys stepping up and playing some excellent hockey with Jammie and Josh again getting on the scoresheet to make it 4-2. Lewis stopped any threats from the left and Graeme Shields worked well left to right....not so munch the other way
With 5 minutes to go all the what's work and pressure was rewarded when Derek Morrison slipped the ball to Fobey who from the top of the D sent a howitzer into the keepers left hand post to make it 5-2.

Lastly congratulations to the Cala keeper who had an amazing game keeping the score line respectable.
